About Us Who we are... Explore & Develop, Glenmore Park is a purpose built, state of the art childcare centre. We are located in the heart of Glenmore Park opposite the Town Centre. We are a privately owned and operated centre, and are also part of the Explore & Develop group. We offer the most current and emergent early childhood programs and employ a motivated and professional staff team with industry experience and qualifications. We first openend in October 2007 and have built a high quality reputation among our families and community. What we offer... Our centre provides high quality early childhood programs for all enrolled children. We also provide breakfast, morning tea, a warm cooked lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack to all children throughout the day. Our meals are planned and prepared by a qualified cook, who also ensures that children's health and nutritional requirements are met. Our centre is designed to cater to children between 0-6 years of age and offers state of the art facilities and resources. Our Playrooms... Explore & Develop Glenmore Park operates three playrooms, each catering to a specific age group. Each of our playrooms are bright and light, with direct access to our playgrounds. Our playrooms are as follows; Bilby's (0-2 Years): Our Bilby room is our nursery. It caters to our babies, complete with four sleep/cot rooms and an internal bottle prepartion area. Our Bilby room is fitted out with soft toys and resources that encourage babies to develop. Our Bilby programs also ensure that children are involved in a range of sensory and other learning experiences, catering to each of their individual needs. Koala's (2-3 Years): Our Koala room is busy and active, catering specifically to our toddlers! Our todler room focussed on developing children's independence and early learning skills through an emergent and hand-on program. Our trained staff also cater to children's individual interests and needs through a project approach to learning. Possum's (2-3 Years): Our Possum room caters to our preschoolers. Our trained teacher ensures that our Preschool Program assist all children as they prepare for their transition to school. Our staff implement an emergent and project approach to the program, which allows children to develop and foster new skills through discovery and hands-on learning. Our apporach see children become independent and confident both socially and academically in the months leading up to school. Our Programs... The Explore & Develop philosophy see children learning through hands-on and meaningful learning experiences. Our staff implement emergent early childhood programs that is based on the Project- approach. Through this style of learning, children can explore their interests and make discoveries in a meaningful and relevent way.
