Funky Bugs visit Explore & Develop Glenmore Park: The children enjoyed the vibrant 'Funky Bugs' show that came for a visit to the centre. Lots of dancing, story telling and a special visit by a puppet made for an enjoyable morning by all!
Explore & Develop Glenmore Park- Finalists in the 'Small Business Champion Awards 2008': Congratulations to our fantastic staff team for their committment and professionalism. This year we were nominated as a finalist in the NSW and ACT Small Business- Childcare Centres category. Five of our team and centre management representatives went along to the awards ceremony, held at 'The Grand Harbour Ballroom', Star City. Those that went along looked glamerous and had a wonderful time mixing with finalists from around the state. Thank you to everybody who voted- making us finalists in our first year of trading!
The Echo Dragon Visits Explore & Develop Glenmore Park: Penrith Council's environmental sustainability mascot named 'Echo' dropped in at our centre to talk with the staff and children about environmental awareness. This event coincided with the launch of our new centre name. We focussed on the green and environmetal aspects of our philosophy during the launch. 'Echo' even helped out as children planted daisies in the playground.
